Pin Collectors Hall of Fame
If you're listed here, you either own at least 50,000 genuine pins or have made it into the Guinness Book of Records because of your collecting.
Jordi (Andorra) a Pioneer of Pin Collecting
Jordi from Andorra was once the Guinness World Record holder for the largest pin collection. During his lifetime, he ran Hotel Sant Miquel in the Andorran mountains — a hotel that housed a truly unique feature: a pin museum in the basement. Jordi was a passionate and dedicated collector who didn’t stop at pins. His collections also included golf balls and thimbles, but pins were always closest to his heart. At the time of his last known count, he had at least 75,000 pins — and likely many more, perhaps even 100,000, as the 75,000 figure is now very outdated His contribution to the world of pin collecting remains unforgettable. Photos from his hotel and museum can be seen at www.karl-david.com
Arvind Sinha (India)
Arvind Sinha from Mumbai holds not one, but two Guinness World Records for the largest collection of lapel pins — with 18,000 pins certified in 2012 and an astonishing 44,000 in 2015. His next milestone? A collection of 100,000 pins. Sinha, a textile engineer and global business advisor, began collecting in 1991 with just 200 pins, including several received through the Lions Club. Over the years, through global travel and passionate networking, his collection grew. He views lapel pins as miniature windows into history — from U.S. presidents to anti-war messages like “Down with Saddam Hussein.” In addition to pins, he owns 3.6 million postage stamps, 12,000 miniature flags, rare coins, army insignia and more — a treasure trove of global memorabilia.
Pinskungen (Sweden)
Pinskungen is Sweden’s most devoted pin collector with a vast archive of pins, badges, patches, tie pins and club insignia. His collection highlights Swedish police, military, rescue services, health care, and even American and international pins from sports, entertainment and tourism.
His entire collection is meticulously catalogued online using themed boards, which are frequently updated – most recently in 2024 and 2025. The website also invites donations from fellow collectors worldwide. As of August 11, 2025, the Pin King has 75,400 pins. He is probably the living pin collector with the most genuine pins in the world, although he has not yet been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records.
Barbro Torslund (Sweden)
Barbro Torslund – Guinness Record Holder & Disney Enthusiast. Barbro Torslund began her pin collecting journey by focusing exclusively on municipality pins and flag pins. Her extensive flag pin collection earned her a spot in the Guinness Book of Records. She later expanded her collection to include all kinds of pins, with a particular passion for Disney pins, especially those featuring Mickey Mouse. Barbro was also an author, and together with her husband, she wrote the book "The Outrageous Tale of Arthur’s Space Journey" (Den sanslösa berättelsen om Arthurs rymdresa).
